GUITAR
At Picco Music Academy we offer lessons on both acoustic and electric guitar for all levels. Acoustic guitars include nylon string (classical) as well as steel string guitars. Generally ages 6 and older have an easier time learning guitar due to finger strength and required fine motor skills. For students younger than that we recommend starting on drums, piano, or ukulele. Guitar is a very popular instrument because of its versatility across many genres of music; equally at home with rhythm and accompaniment, lead and instrumental.
