At Picco Music Academy we believe that learning an instrument should be fun! We offer instruction on a wide variety of instruments with teachers who are committed to providing an encouraging learning environment whether in-person or online.

Music lessons at Picco Music Academy are weekly, 30 minute, one-on-one sessions. Our instruction takes into account the individual interests and goals of the student. Although teaching methods may vary depending on the teacher, wherever possible we will strive to engage the student by incorporating their personal preferences. We believe this approach helps motivate the student to spend time with their instrument and improves the overall learning experience.

MONTHLY TUITION

The standard cost of enrollment at Picco Music Academy is $120 per month. Students who pay this monthly rate have a weekly 30-minute reserved time slot with their teacher (excluding holidays and closures). Tuition is the same for every month regardless of how many weeks there are.

SINGLE LESSONS

For those not interested in our monthly tuition rate, we offer single lessons and coaching sessions (subject to availability):

• $45 per 30 minute session

• $65 per 45 minute session

• $85 per 60 minute session

REGISTRATION FEE

There is a registration fee of $50 per student. This fee is waived for additional siblings or immediate family members who enroll from the same household.

FAMILY DISCOUNTS

Registration fee is waived for additional family members enrolled from the same household. Families who are enrolled in 3 or more instruments/lessons receive a 5% discount on their monthly tuition. For example, if a family has 3 children enrolled in weekly music lessons they would receive the discount. Or if a student is enrolled in 1.5 hours of weekly music lessons they would also receive the discount. Discount applies to those paying monthly tuition and does not apply for students/families who pay per lesson.

CANCELLATIONS

If students are unable to attend their regular reserved lesson time we request at least 24-hours notice. Students are not guaranteed a make up lesson and there are no refunds or credits.

For lessons that are cancelled by a teacher, the teacher must offer makeup options within that quarter. If no acceptable times can be agreed upon then a credit will be given. Quarters are divided as follows: Sept-Nov, Dec-Feb, March-May, June-Aug.
